About me
I earned a B.A. in English Language and Literature at Ewha Women’s University in Korea, and a B.A. in International Trade from Korea Open University. I also earned a M.A. in Political Science from Ewha Women’s University and a M.A. in Linguistics from the University of Florida. I earned a Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Sussex, United Kingdom. I also did Ph.D. coursework through The Academy of Korean Studies, in the Program for International Korean Studies. After teaching at Juseong College in Korea, I was invited as a visiting Associate Professor, to begin the Korean program at Emory. Click here for curriculum vitae.
